Needed in sooooo many ways

Why We Need Vacations

1. Even if its been just a few weeks or months, it feels like years!

Whether you just got back home from being on a vacation or that its been several months since you've taken a relaxing break, it feels like its been a forever when you finally go on one.

2. Why we need vacations.

Work, school, life in general is stressful. Taking a well deserved break from a hectic life is healthy, revitalizing and keeps you from losing your mind. (If you haven't already lost it from everyday stress). It is good to get out and go camping or spend the night on a beach somewhere, as long as your having a good time it doesn't matter where it is or how much it cost.

3. Who needs some time off?

Everyone better be raising their hand! Unless you just got back from holiday, you need a vacation. If you say I can't go on vacation I'm too busy, make time to live life and go out and do something to add a little fun to your life. If you keep saying I DON'T HAVE TIME then you need vacation more than the rest of us. It doesn't have to be uber expensive or so amazing that its classified as a once in the lifetime vacation. It just needs to have realization and fun and that is a successful vacation.

4. How do you know when you take off too much time?

People may say you take off too much time from work, but do you actually take off too much. When work life becomes affected by not getting enough hours, then yes, you've had just a few too many breaks. When school work is not being completed and you skip many classes to take a "break". Changes are that break is a lot longer than you thought it was. But when you are groggy, moody, cranky, or down right unbearable then you my friend need a vacation.

5. Does every vacation have to be a huge, memorable family event?

The whole family doesn't have to go, there's nothing wrong with wanting some time to yourself. Just don't get caught trying to escape the home! After you come back from your extended trip to the grocery store or an unplanned meet up with a friend, that's when you plan a scheduled vacation with the whole family. It doesn't have to be expensive and extravagant. They can be simple yet classic. Big trips don't have to cost a fortune, being with your family is memorable enough the trip is just an added bonus.

You know it was a great holiday, when you don't want to leave and come back to reality, if possible do the same vacation again, later on, if it was that once in a lifetime trip, do something else enjoyable and just relax for a bit.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
