Why We All Need to Try One New Thing Every Week

There's so much to life that there is no way a human can experience every single thing life has to offer. With that being said it's so important that we don't stick to the same-old schedule and routines we always have. There's so much to life than cycling through the same things every week, seeing the same people you see everyday, and eating the same food you've ate your whole life. It's not beneficial to your personal life enrichment if you're satisfied with never having any new experiences. We all are a little bit in love with our lives being the way they are, but we can take that self-love and just spread that enjoyment into other things. It's hard to be truly satisfied with life when it constantly remains stagnant. It's an age- old story but you have to be the change you want to see in the world, but not only the world because it's up to you to be the change you'd like to see in yourself.

Obviously life is full of restrictions that sometimes can never be avoided, but they can be tweaked to some extent. Maybe you usually study in the library, try out a coffee shop instead. Once you try that one coffee shop you can go out and experience different one's and that's something new that can always be achieved. If you life quiet when you're studying or doing homework then try out a different local library if you can. Sometimes we build up these restriction in our mind to avoid trying new things. It's important to clear your mind of the negative to let in the positive.

There's countless people we're going to have in our lives that aren't going to enjoy doing everything that you do. That factor shouldn't stop you from doing the things that you want to. Once you're comfortable being alone so many new experiences are offered to you. Most towns have a website listing events that are being held that week. A week that you're not trying a new setting maybe try a new experience. There's so many cool things happening that we don't know about because it's hard to always be looking in the right places. Going alone to an event is only going to benefit you, and the experience that you gain might not have happened if you were too afraid to go alone.

That's it. We can no longer let the fear of new things stop us from doing them. If what you want to try isn't harmful to you or anyone else then there should be nothing stopping you from trying it. Yes there is a lot that cost money which is a restriction but life is full of so many more free experiences we should all be jumping on those opportunities when we can, and there should be no excuses. So try one new thing every week, and it may seem like in your head but it's as simple as taking a new route to class, going to a different grocery store, going to your local farmers market or hearing a band you never have before. Sometime's we're our own biggest obstacles and we have to learn to get past our fears.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
