If you're as obsessed with coffee as I am, then you need to know about the Columbus Coffee trail. It's an experience in Columbus, involving a myriad of coffee shops and bakeries. Whether you're a coffee newbie or a connoisseur, this trail is perfect. Though it doesn't involve EVERY coffee shop in Columbus, it does give you a great start!
How To: The first step is to visit a coffee shop in Columbus and pick up a stamp card. It's a stamp card that shows every participating coffee shop in the Columbus Experience. If you earn four stamps on this card, you get a free t-shirt! After you win the t-shirt, you can still complete the card, but the only prize is your growing caffeine addiction.
You can find all of the participating locations here.
Bonus Suggestions:
The Roosevelt Coffee House: Best Mocha
My favorite coffee shop is The Roosevelt Coffee House. They have THE BEST MOCHA in Columbus (in my humble opinion). With large windows, sunlight is constantly lighting up the café. The art is constantly changing in the Roosevelt and the music is classic, played on a record player. The Roosevelt also works with multiple organizations and charities to fight certain issues (hunger, human trafficking, etc.).
Fox in the Snow: Most Likely to Pop Up on Your Instagram
This place is beautiful! In the summer, the outdoor patio is packed and iced coffee is flowing. In the winter, the plants and pastries turn the café into a wonderland. Honestly, this coffee shop is the perfect coffee aesthetic.
Winan's Fine Coffee and Chocolates: Most Likely to Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth
It's basically just a chocolate shop that sells coffee, but who doesn't love a good treat with your morning espresso? This location is also sublime because, since it's right next to a park, the likelihood of seeing a bunch of cute dogs is very high!
Pistacia Vera: Most Likely to Make You Want to Leave Everything Behind and Move to Paris
If the coffee here doesn't hook you, the French pastries will. The overall aesthetic of this place is quaint and quiet. If you don't want to move to Paris and become a café owner after visiting this coffee shop, then you did something wrong.
One Line Coffee: Most Likely to Let You Get Work Done
This coffee shop is located on the Short North, but it maintains a quiet, working atmosphere. It's comfortable and a haven compared to most coffee shops in Columbus. Whether you want to sit by the window and people watch while writing a paper, or you need to bury yourself in exam studying on the back couch, One Line is the best location to get some real work done.
