We All Need Each Type Of Friend

I'll be there for you, and you'll be there for me too.

We All Need Each Type Of Friend

Think about your friends, and how different they all are. Think about what they bring to the table, and what you would do without each one of them. We all have groups of friends or family that we love so much, and they all serve a different purpose in our lives.

1. The Honest Friend

We all need a friend who is going to be honest with us no matter what. They'll tell you how to stand up for yourself, or when your top is too big, or when you're doing something wrong. You know that you can go to them and they'll tell you the truth, and give you that tough love when you need it.

2. The Friend Who Always Laughs

We all need a friend who laughs at our jokes, even when they're not funny. We need someone we can always laugh with, and someone whose laugh is infectious.

3. The Friend With The Best Advice

We all need a friend who we know will give us the best advice. No matter what we come to them with, they'll always know what to say to make you and your situation better.

4. The Friend Who Always Parties

We all need a friend who is there when we want to go out, and you know they'll want to go out too. They're your go-to friend when you need to let loose for the night.

5. The Friend Who Never Parties

We all need a friend who wants to stay in with you when it's cold out and you want to watch movies. The same way that you need a friend who is always going out, we need a friend who always wants to stay in.

6. The Fashionable Friend

We all need a friend who can give us the best styling advice, who can do our hair and makeup, and help us plan our outfits. When you have an event, that friend will be there to judge every single outfit you try on before hand, and then help you choose a lipstick color to match.

7. The Hungry Friend

We all need a friend who is down to eat at any time of the day. Whether it's 3 a.m. or noon, they'll always be ready to get food with you.

8. The Gossipy Friend

We all need a friend who knows all of the drama, gossip, and secrets. When you need to find out something about someone, they're like your own personal computer.

9. The Motivational Friend

We all need a friend who is going to pick us up when were down, push us to do the best we can in life, and keep us going. They'll always be down to go to the library, or help you pick your classes, and they'll send you nice texts to keep your mind at ease.

There are so many types of friends, and so many more than I listed here. Share this with your friends and let them know which number friend they are, and how much they mean to you.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
