We Need Change

Dear Mrs. McCaskey,
I’m a Chicago Bears fan, and am not pleased about what I have seen from the team this year. Or any year, save for 2010 since 2009. The excuses are endless as we have had 3 general managers and head coaches. We get players who turn out to be total busts, such as Gabe Carimi or Shea McClellan who bottomed out. In free agency we get big names both player and coach wise.
NOTHING IS working, and the excuses are running out, even as you charge fans way too much money to watch the Bears lose in person. Virginia, you are the daughter of George Halas who founded this franchise close to a century ago. What would he think of the mockery you put on the field every Sunday. He would not be happy with you and want you to sell the team to someone who actually cares about the product on the field instead of the pocketbook.
Why is the blame on you? You hired Phil Emery who screwed big time with the Jay Cutler deal and failed draft picks. You fired Lover Smith when he had great teams, but had rotten luck with injuries and assistant coaches. You allowed Marc Trestman to come in and ruin our defense. John Fox is a good coach but his record due to past mistakes looks bad.
Speaking of bad, we need a new QB. Barkley had one rough outing and that shows that he is either a backup or lower tier starter. We need to keep him along with Connor Shaw but get rid of Cutler ASAP. The only reason why he broke the records is because he has been mediocre longer than any QB in recent memory.
You did an okay job, but it is time for your family to sell this team, even if it means collectivism like that evil puke stomach bile colored team up north. Ask the Cubs what changes in ownership can do.
Sincerely,

Every single Bears fan

I'll never forget the day that someone told me these words: "Madison, I think you're a good friend to everyone but yourself." I stood there completely in awe of that statement. Before that day, I never really thought about being a friend to myself, and at the time, I didn't really know what it meant. Now, I realize that you can't fully be there for other people unless you're there for yourself, too. You can't show up for others until you're willing to show up for yourself.

Here are five things everyone should learn in order to be a better friend to themselves. These steps are hard, but they're so worth it.
