And then there was one.

It is looking very likely that the anime component of the series Naruto – actually titled Naruto Shippuden – is going to be coming to a close on September 29 in Japan, meaning the English-dubbed finale is still a ways a way. Aptly titled The Last Battle, it looks like the episode will be double in length (one hour long) and will potentially cover manga chapters 694 – 700, including the epilogue found in chapter 700.

If this is the truth, then that means only one of the former big three manga/anime series’ will be left standing (One Piece) – truly marking the end of yet another era for fans everywhere following the most recent end of the BLEACH manga.

Do not fret, fans, we are not completely without Naruto-related content. There is a currently ongoing series dedicated to Naruto’s son, Boruto, aptly named Boruto. There is also an anticipated short series expected to be coming out featuring different characters, events, etc. that happened in the aftermath of the main series closure (post-main story, pre-chapter 700 epilogue stuff). So, the Naruto universe isn’t completely closed off to us as of yet, dear readers. The main story of our favorite knucklheaded ninja, however, will soon be closing the curtains one last time.

In the mean time, readers, what are some your favorite Naruto/Naruto Shippuden moments? Favorite characters? Most hated characters? What kind of impact has anime – any anime including Naruto/Naruto Shippuden – had on your life, friendships, etc?

Will you be following One Piece as Naruto comes to an end? If not, what other series’ are you following or intend to follow as Naruto comes to a close? What ones would you recommend to fill the void?

-hint hint- Your answers may well wind up in a special article a few weeks from now, readers!

See you in the next one!

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
