I walk the earth in-
search of something-
Drawing me in.
Crunching my shoulders in
like a nut inside
the cracker’s grip.
If I told you all the times,
I have felt suffocated in
an empty room
you would think
me, myself, and I
really were three different people
living in
my head.
Narrow tunnels remind me of
hollowed out tree trunks.
My mind hones
while my body implodes
within a collagen, skeletal frame.
