Before, I begin, allow me to clarify that everything I'm stating in this article is basically meant as a joke.
I know that frat guys aren't all the same, and that they're not all named Chad, but I have noticed a plethora of certain names at Mizzou's frats. I also know that not every guy with these names have the characteristics that I'm going to mention, but they are some humorous stories that happened with these names. This entire article was made with humor in mind. Don't take me too seriously.
So, here it is- a list of 10 names that frat guys always seem to have.
1. Kyle
Kyle's that one guy you know that will try to flirt, but will usually try something like rolling a chair over to a girl to put his arm around them and then asking if they want to smoke.
2. Zach
Maybe I'm the only one, but I've met just about 30 Zach's in frats, and most of them will claim that 'they're not the normal frat guy' but will still tell you in amazing detail about how he got the title of 'Shotgun Champ.'
3. Blake
The only thing you really know about a Blake is that he's probably slept with 3 of your friends.
4. Alex
Literally every Alex I know in a frat is from the West Coast, and a little more 'cultured' than most people.
5. Nick
The Nick's I know are always aggressively hipster.
"Oh, I guess YOU wouldn't know them. They're pretty obscure."
6. Colin
Colin's sunglasses probably cost more than your tuition.
7. Cooper
Cooper's probably the kid that went to the hospital with alcohol poisoning, left the hospital that morning in his hospital gown and started drinking as soon as he got back.
8. Cameron
You will always find Cameron in the gym. Most likely with his best friend, lifting, while taking pictures for their 'Fitness Insta.'
9. Justin
Justin is like... the ULTIMATE frat guy. Probably extremely good at flip cup and probably the first one passed out.
10. Sean
Sean probably drinks a little too much and uses frat parties as an excuse to drink a little too much.
Those are the 10 names I've run into the most at frats, and some of the experiences myself or my friends have had. I know that not everyone with that name is like that, and that not every guy in a frat fits these stereotypes.
As I said before, these are just some humorous observations that don't fit every situation. Don't take me too seriously.
