The Coolest Art Form

Because art anywhere except on your nails is overrated.

Society is exceptional at creating ways to decorate basically every aspect of our body. We have makeup for our face (and body), jewelry to adorn our ears and necks, curlers for our hair and tattoos for virtually any part of your body. But, one of my personal favorite invented aesthetic, though, is nail art.

Nail art has become super popular among celebrities and actresses. One of my favorites is Zendaya. Her nails are always decorated with rhinestones, flowers, hearts. If it can go on your nails, she's done it.

Nail art is just such a cool form of self expression. There are so many countless ways to show your personality, and this can be a subtle option of doing just that. Don't get me wrong, I'm in love with multi-colored hair and makeup, crazy shoes and purses, but the fact that someone thought, "Hey I could put paint on my nails to show off my creativity and interests," is mind-boggling to me. The imaginative thoughts and originality that people come up with is awe-inspiring. It opens up the world to new ideas and inventions. If you can paint your nails, what can't you do?

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
