I recently went to the annual Educational Symposium held by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. The whole experience was eye opening and inspiring. Seeing how far the organization of the ASRT could reach made me want to reach for more as well. On the plane home, I felt moved by the passionate members and attendees of the symposium and the words began to flow.
I came. I saw. And I met so many people I want to be like. They're educated. They're educating, but most of all they're passionate about what they do. I'm talking about the professionals I met at the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Education Symposium.
I came. I saw. And I woke up early. It was hard. It was long, but most of all it was rewarding. I'm taking about the variety of talks and meetings at the symposium.
I came. I saw. And I contemplated all the opportunities. There's military. There's professional writing, but most of all there's always the chance to improve. I'm talking about my future decision.
There's no shortcut to success, but there's three things that will definitely help.
Good people
Good work ethic
Good opportunities
With those three, we students of the 2017 Student Leadership Development Program are off to a running start.
