As Veterans' Day has passed us, I can't help but reflect on the life of my grandfather. A sense of pride overcomes me as a I think about the warm embrace he so effortlessly offers to those he meets. A wise man of only a few words, with a skilled hand and a helpful heart, he is tough and true. He lives through his experience, his morals, his strong will, and his practical approach to every day life.

He sacrificed some of his earlier years serving our country and he continues to live a life built upon hard work and respect.
