My Top 5 Shows On Netflix And Hulu

Ever since Netflix became a big hit, it's all everyone talks about and it's an amazing thing to have-- especially if there's a show that at one point you wanted to watch and never had the chance. It's especially great to have around a time like this during the winter season when all you want to do is stay home in the warmth and watch a movie or TV show. Over the time span that I have owned a Netflix as well as a Hulu account, a few TV shows stand out to me. Here are my top 5 TV shows on Netflix and Hulu:

5. Smallville (Hulu)

Smallville is such an awesome show and I first had heard about it through my older brother. It's basically about the life of Superman, before he was Superman. It surrounds his life through high school and his struggle and learning experience dealing with his powers and keeping it a secret from others around him. It is an older show that started in 2001 and ended in 2011. But although the quality isn/t as good as some shows now, it's still a great show based on its storyline. Also, I'm a huge nerd when it comes to superheroes, so that just makes me like the show so much more.

4. White Collar (Netflix)

This is a good show for if you're into FBI-type of shows. But what's great about this show is that doesn't just have a serious tone to it but, it also has a humorous side to it too.

3. The Mindy Project (Hulu)

I very recently started watching The Mindy Project and I absolutely love it. It's very light, funny and refreshing. Mindy Kaling plays such a great role and she is hilarious as well as the rest of the cast. It's one of those shows where if you might be having a rough day, it will definitely pick you up.

2. Chuck (Netflix)

Chuck is another one of those funny shows that's light and fun to watch. I honestly think that I've watched all seasons of this show at least twice because I loved it that much. It's a show that I would recommend to anyone, and one that you won't get tired of. It did end a few years ago, but there is talk that they might be bringing it back.

1. The Walking Dead (Netflix)

I saved this as number one because at the moment this is my all time favorite show. It's funny because I was first introduced to this show by my cousin and when she was telling me about it, in my head I was thinking that it was just another terrible zombie show or movie. My parents had actually thought the same way about it. And now, every Sunday night is The Walking Dead night whenever each season starts. The other thing is I'm not too into anything that bloody but, as soon as I started to watch the show, I was hooked.

I hope you all enjoyed my little list of the shows I enjoy watching and that they are shows you might be interested in watching if you don't already watch them now!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
