My Top 6 Reasons To Travel

6. New styles. I love clothes and fashion (although I am too broke to properly display that love), and I am always in awe when I visit a new place and see how different their fashion sense may be from mine. I do admit that when traveling somewhere, I research what their fashion may be like just to make sure I will not stand out more than I already will as a tourist. Even when traveling within the States, different cities have very different kinds of styles than my small town does.

5. New food and new people. As someone who loves food, food is an important part of trip planning. I love to eat any and all carbs, so those are normally the kinds of restaurants I gravitate towards, but a national or community favorite is always a stop on the itinerary.

4. The scenery. This is almost self-explanatory, but I had to mention it. The views of this world are absolutely amazing. No matter where you visit, I guarantee that there will be a breathtaking view somewhere. I know some people would rather enjoy the view instead of seeing it through a camera lens, but taking photos of the beautiful scenery is something that you will be thankful for when you are having traveler's fever.

3. You will discover that there is more to this world than your small town (or big city) and develop a greater sense of wonder and appreciation for the different people and cultures of the world. There are more than seven billion people in this world occupying hundreds of thousands of villages, towns, and cities. Mingle with the locals, find hole-in-the-wall places, stroll through the main street at rush hour. Go out and take a minute to just feel small in comparison to the vast world around you.

2. You will learn far more than you ever planned on learning when first planning your trip. Travel is the best education. You can learn new history, facts, languages, and so much more while on your adventure. Take time to visit museums and historical spots to become a part of that community's history. Becoming culturally involved, even the smallest bit, can still help you with future endeavors and experiences.

1. The priceless memories that you make will be cherished forever. Whether you capture your memories through phone, film, or mind, they are memories that you will never be able to forget and will cherish for a lifetime. No matter where you travel, whether it be on a two-hour day trip or a two-month vacation to Europe, traveling is an experience that will change you as a person, even the slightest bit.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
