My Top 15 Songs by We The Kings
We The Kings

In case you haven't heard already, We The Kings announced their 10 year anniversary tour of their first album. I for one have been a major fan of theirs since their first album and I cannot believe that it has already been 10 years. This band and their music have been on this journey through my life these past 10 years and every time I hear certain songs I can always go back and remember events in my life. And that is one thing that I love about music, in general, is that it can take you back and help you remember a whole lot of things. And We The Kings has always been able to do that for me, and like everyone else I do have my favorite songs and here are just my top 15.

1. Skyway Avenue

2. Check Yes Juliet

3. August is Over

4. Sad Song, ft. Elena Coats

5. Jenny's Song

6. Story of Tonight

7. Secret Valentine

8. Heaven Can Wait

9. This is Our Town

10. She

11. Just Keep Breathing

12. Say You Like Me

13. Don't Speak Liar

April Ludgate

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.

Amidst my hectic college career, I always find time for one thing, even on the busiest weeks: Parks and Recreation. This show has made me laugh and has made me cry, but most of all I have related to this show more than I would like to admit.
