My Top 10 Restaurants In Nantucket
Wikipedia

Nantucket is a beautiful island with beaches galore and beautiful shops with fantastic shopping areas. And a great little town is scituated on the coast which when you get off the ferry you drive directly into it! The best part of being in Nantucket is the food though of course! They have phenomonal restaurants with great service and a wide variety of food. If you are heading over there soon either for a week or a day, here is a list of my top 10 favorite resturants.

10. Crosswinds

Crosswinds is a restaurant located in the airport on the island and I know what you're saying. An aiport in a restuarant - why would we go there? Well, with this restaurant, you can sit right next to the runway and watch the planes take off while you eat. Food wise, it's delicious, my favorite dishes from there being clam chowder and a BBQ pulled pork sandwich.

9. Sophie T's Pizza

This is probably the best pizza I have ever had. Its delicious and the servings they give you are huge. The best part is that they are open year round on the island while most restaurants are not.

8. Mom's Breakfast at the Nantucket Inn

Located directly acroos from the airport this place has some amazing breakfast food. They lay out a large buffet featuring muffins, eggs, pancakes, waffles, juice, and any other breakfast thing you could imagine. Because it is located at a very beautiful inn it is a little pricier than most resaurants but it is definitely worth it!

7. Nantucket Bake Shop

Nantucket Bake Shop is known for their amazing donuts. They usually have just the generic flavors like Boston cream, glazed, chocolate frosted, and the usual, but the way they make them makes them taste like brand new flavors. If you get the chance, you have to try one.

6. Faregrounds

Much more of a place where locals go, this place boasts an impressive menu featuring many types of appetizers, sandwiches, platters, and also a delicious salad bar. Set in a pub atmosphere, you can sit in the formal dining room or the bar area.

5. Fusaro's

One of my favorite Italian places in the world! They have an awesome clams linguine cooked in a garlic and oil butter. They also have amazing pizza that is cooked to perfection.

4. Bartlett Farms

A little farm located on Nantucket similar to that of whole foods. The only difference between this and whole foods is that they grow a majority of there foods on sight, and those that are not on sight are brought from local farms, and manufacturers. They make delicious fresh sandwiches that just thinking about makes my mouth water!

3. Provisions

An amazing sandwich place located in town where they have a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from. My favorites from this place are the Terrific Turkey, which is a stuffing, turkey, and cranberry, on Portuguese bread, and the caprese sandwich which is made with tomato and mozzarella on ciabatta toasted with arugula with a balsamic dressing.

2. Sushi by Yoshi

This is the best sushi place in the world, it is super phenomenal. Plus with it is within walking distance of the ferry. Their shrimp tempura is fantastic cooked to perfection and it pairs perfectly with their iced tea.

1. Rose and Crown

Finally it's time for my number one restaurant...THE ROSE AND CROWN. This pub in town boasts a menu that although seems small on items, is big on flavor. Their number one item...their amazing burgers cooked to perfection with a variety of toppings, you can't beat one of there legendary burgers.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
