One of my favorite things to do is hunt for new music. I love to create new playlists for different moods and occasions, and take much pride in my Spotify account. One of my resolutions for the new year was to keep an updated Spotify, whereas in the past I have usually been one to forget about my new music hunts for weeks on end.

A lot of new songs and albums were released this past month, and I decided to take the liberty of ranking my top ten favorites. My music taste has always been vast, and includes a little bit of everything. This list includes a mix of styles and genres, so hopefully at least one of them will fancy your eardrums. Enjoy!

It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
