My Thoughts On Those Who Remain In The Big Brother House

I'm an avid Big Brother fan as of the last few seasons. I was too young and interested in other tv shows when it first started. Now, I look forward to every summer when the new season starts and we are introduced to the new members of the Big Brother house. This season we were lucky enough to have four previous players return. Although, only two remain in the house. These are my thoughts on the ones who are still playing this game for 500,000 dollars.

My main girl right here. Nicole is one of the returners and was on Big Brother 16. I LOVED her then and I LOVE her now. She can be a bit ditzy at times, but she can win this game if she really wants it. When she came into the Big Brother house this season she said "no showmances" but then she met Corey (swoooon). Nicole was able to manipulate her team the first week and become HOH. Unfortunately, she hasn't won a comp since. She did win the care package allowing her to be safe this week. But she also has never been put on the block this season. Her biggest threat mama Da was evicted during week 6. She needs to keep to herself, keep her word, and win some comps; otherwise the guys are going to dominate this game. Side note: how does one not have the ultimate girl crush on her?!

Meech, Meech, Meech. I really wanted to like you girl, but the crying has gotten way outta hand the past few weeks and I just can't handle it. I thought you said some really funny things in previous weeks and I was like, "yes! she is me, we are one in the same." But, lately you've just been getting on my nerves. She probably could have had a good chance at winning this considering she is a super fan. Sadly, she's also too emotional of a player. She takes everything personally, even if it is just a game move. She also wanted to argue with James that he should have told her what is move was going to be. Last I checked, he is not playing this game for you Meech. I'm sorry, but you gotta go.

Corey, my man. Lets start out by saying he stole my heart from day one, he's too cute for me to handle. Anyways, he has stuck close with the rest of the guys in the house, which is a smart move considering they pretty much dominate the house right now. They will continue to do so until a female wins HOH. Him and my girl Nicole have formed a showmance and are as cute as can be. Corey has managed to keep himself out of the drama on the show. He's been nominated for eviction once and was able to win the veto to pull himself down. Thursday (8/11) was double eviction week. My boy Corey won HOH AND POV. He is starting to show that he can play this game. Although, Sunday (8/14) he was put on the block next to Paulie. It'll be interesting when it comes down to splitting up the guys.

(Extra picture because look at him!)

Okay, so Paulie is obviously cute too. His brother was actually on Big Brother 16 and Paulie seems to be following in his footsteps. In my opinion, Paulie has practically controlled the entire game. He has won 2 HOH's and 3 Veto's. He has had some input on every single person that has gone out the door. Everyone needs to be careful when it comes to Paulie, I wouldn't be shocked if he won the whole game. Although, his game was recently blown up and is currently on the block. I'm interested to see how it will play out in the upcoming weeks.

I figured it was only smart to put Paul after Paulie in this list; also known as PP. Up until recently, PP was working together. But Paul has started to realize Paulie is more focused on getting his own targets out instead of working with his alliance member. I'll be honest, I really didn't like Paul in the beginning when he was working with Jozea and Victor, but he has since changed his game. Paul is all about the friendship and he's so entertaining to watch.

I could not stand Victor in the first couple weeks he was in the house. He was cocky and just overall annoying. He was originally evicted during week 2, but he participated in the battle back challenge and won, allowing him to re-enter the house. He has since stayed off the radar. He has won 2 HOH's, the most recent being Sunday's (8/14) episode. When he was evicted the vote was 9-1, with Paul being his only ally. Therefore, he has no favors to keep for anyone else. He has put up Corey and Paulie, this is going to be a huge game changer.

I saved my favorite and America's favorite from BB17 for last. My precious Jamesy. I've never wanted to see someone win this game more than him last season or this season. He is always making jokes, pranking someone, or scaring someone. He always goes out and has a positive attitude and tries his best to stay out of any drama. He plays such a good game and in my opinion, deserves to win the entire thing. Love you always Jamesy! (Ps, I'd marry this man any day)

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
