My Thoughts On The iPhone 7
Business Insider

The iPhone 7 was just recently announced on September 7th, and has garnered attention since. Whenever I find out that a new iPhone has been announced, I am immediately filled with excitement and anticipation about the new features and model. Since the iPhone 6 was very similar to the iPhone 5, I was quite disappointed with its “new features.” However, Apple has finally taken a step in a new direction with the iPhone 7!

The new model is waterproof and has a dual-lens camera that has the potential to take pictures with extraordinary quality. This is the first time the dual-lens camera has been incorporated into any iPhone model. In terms of GB, the iPhone 7 no longer comes in the 16GB and 64GB models, but will be introduced in a new 256GB model. The 256GB has the same amount of storage that would be available with an iPad Pro! The overall look of the new iPhone is similar to the iPhone 6, other than a few minor changes -- a new jet black finish, and no more visible antenna lines. The home button has also been redesigned to provide more “precise and and customisable tactile feedback”. The biggest and most controversial change is the removal of the headphone socket. In place of the headphone socket is a second speaker, which will produce sound at least two times louder than the iPhone 6 could. Instead, the iPhone will come with a pair of wired headphones that could be attached to the charging socket for safe-keeping. In addition to this, Apple is releasing AirPods, wireless headphones that would connect to your iPhone 7 and Apple Watch.

I am very impressed with the new model, to say the least. I’m so glad that Apple has finally made the iPhone waterproof, a feature that other smartphones have had for years. The 256GB storage model could be very useful for professionals or just anyone who needs a lot of storage space. The design, although quite similar to the iPhone 6, seems sleek and classy as ever! The only feature that I am not too sure about is the lack of headphone sockets and AirPods. Although the idea of wireless headphones seems futuristic and convenient, I don’t know how practical it would really be. The AirPods could easily get lost and may not fit securely into your ear, making it fall out often.

Regardless, the iPhone 7 looks promising, and I can’t wait for it to be available for the general market!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
