It was that time of the year again. Everyone in Hollywood (and beyond) dressed up to impress Anna Wintour at the 2018 MET Gala. Although the celebs don't always enjoy it, I do. I Always look further to Judge all the outfits that are walking around on the red carpet. I must say that last year was better than this year, there were still some stunning outfits. I will show you my eight favorites of the night, my five least favorites and five that I probably just did not understand. There were of course many more outfits that are worth mentioning, but nobody has time to rank all 160+ of them. Well, everyone but vogue of course. This year's theme was: Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.

My 8 favorites

1. Blake Lively

Elegant, not over the top, and stuck to the theme nicely.

2. Cara Delevigne

Love this outfit. I just do.

3. Emily Ratajkowski

Not so much the theme, but I really love the outfit.

4. Jennifer Lopez

Yaaas! Theme & beauty combined.

5. Kerry Washington

Again not the theme, but this looks fabulous.

6. Jourdan Dunn

She looks like an angel.

7. Paris Jackson

Princess of heaven, amiright?

8. Rita Ora

My 5 least favorites

1. Nicki Minaj

5. Mindy Kaling

This is just wrong on many, many levels.

5 gowns I probably just don't understand

1. Solange Knowles

On theme, and I don't hate it, just don't understand it..

2. Frances McDormand

Again, I don't get it.

3. Sarah Jessica Parker

Really on theme, but I think this is too much. I don't get this.

4. Cardi B

It's kind of a Beyonce rip-off. Sorry not sorry.

5. Lana Del Rey

I love this woman with everything I have. But this outfit I don't get.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
