Graduation is approaching, and I'm personally super stressed! Granted, it's an exciting time but it can also be a time where you constantly think about where your life is going. Now that part is scary - especially when you don't have a set plan. I thought my plan was to take a six-month break, apply to more school, then go back. But lately, I've been feeling more go with the flow and not wanting to have a set plan. But who knows? Maybe I'll stick to the plan or something better will come around.
To describe my general feelings towards Graduation - I've compiled my thoughts in the form of New Girl memes. Why does New Girl always seem to explain life so well?
1. When your employers ask you "How's school?" But won't give you a day off for homework.
2. Talking yourself into going to class rather than feeling the love of your blanket.
3. When your mom calls to check on your mental state.
4. When people ask why it's taking you so long to graduate...
5. Going out when you should actually be studying
6. Explaining why you are constantly tired.
7. Trying to decipher what your future may hold.
8. Realizing how fab your grades are looking.
9. Sending out your graduation invitations like...
10. Taking a step back and realizing it's okay to go where life takes you sometimes - be patient.
Don't stress. Everything will happen as it needs to. You do not need to have your life completely figured out right now. Go with the flow. Live your life. You have your entire life to be an adult. You've got this.
