Tea from a bag is convenient and easily microwaved. Tea by any other means is a challenge to make it on the go or in a dorm room. I have never made tea from a teapot or a diffuser. Most ways besides tea bags and strainers are an absolute mystery to me and will remain so until I have the time and money to experiment with tea boats and clay pots.
My perfect cup of tea:
Get a mug full of water.
Add a bag of Chai of Green Tea.
Microwave for four minutes on high.
Leave in microwave for about four to five minutes.
Remove the tea bag.
Add two to three teaspoons of local honey.
Stir until the honey is completely incorporated.
Sit back and enjoy.

According to some websites I have been exploring websites and I have been doing this all wrong. The amount of time spent with a heat source, the temperature, and the amount of sugar are supposed to change based on the variety of tea being made.
I use my method no matter what kind of tea I am making.
The only time it changes is if I have run out of honey or am lacking a microwave. When using a Keurig type coffee maker to make my bagged tea the process changes ever so slightly. Insert teabag into a mug, fill with hot water from Keurig type coffee maker, place on the radiator to steep. When all is said and done, I add the honey. Normally I won't remove the teabag in this case and instead will make another cup of tea from it later.
If there is no honey, which is perhaps one of the most tragic events a tea drinker like me could run into there is the hope that someone nearby either has honey or sugar packets I can borrow. I do not normally stock sugar packets when school is in session because I don't drink coffee and it doesn't taste nearly as good as honey.
