What I usually do for Super Bowl Sunday is unlike most people. Usually, my dad is not home to watch as he is watching with friends elsewhere and my brother is with his friends at a Super Bowl Party. So, that leaves me, my mom, and my dog Mason. So, the three of us just order in food and attempt to watch the game, which usually entails of paying closer attention to the commercials than the game itself.
Some may think sitting at home and essentially doing nothing is somewhat boring for the Super Bowl, however, I have come to love it. Each year I look forward to sitting on the couch with my mom, eating good food, and just hanging out.
However, when the Giants (my mom is a Giants fan) or the Redskins (my favorite team) are ever in the Super Bowl, we usually pay attention to the game. Or at least the end. But, according to my brother, who is also a Giants fan, the Redskins will never make it, but that’s beside the point.
Although my tradition is somewhat different, it is something that I have come to look forward to and love.
