An Honest Ranking Of Taylor Swift’s Albums

In This Article:

Here is my definitive ranking of Blondie's 9 albums:

9. 1989

Okay, it hurts to put this one last. I love so many songs on this album. As a whole though, I don't think there's much variety in the music. They're all very upbeat and fast (besides You Are In Love and Clean) and I'm more of a sad and slow girl.

8. Reputation

I know, I know. Who doesn't love Rep? New Year's Day and Getaway Car are some of my favorite Taylor songs ever, but I just don't resonate with the majority of songs on this album. The music is good, but the feelings don't seem genuine!

7. Debut

I'm not a country fan. I love some of the songs on this album, but the banjos and fiddles are too much for me.

6. Lover

I know so many people who hate this album, and I don't know why. Personally, I think it is one of her best eras. I don't trust anyone who hasn't bawled their eyes out to Soon You'll Get Better.

5. Fearless AND Evermore

I tried, I really tried, but I cannot choose between these two. They're both so good in their own ways. Fearless consists of mostly high-tempo love songs that make me feel like they're ten years old again, and in the best way. And Evermore is the opposite, complete with mostly sad, slow, almost calming tracks. The songs here are more mature, but the songs on Fearless are nostalgic and innocent.

3. Folklore

Just like Evermore, Folklore's tracks are sophisticated and slow. The only reason Folklore is above Evermore is because there is not a single song on that album I don't want played at my funeral.

2. Red

Another nostalgic album. There is not one bad song on Red and I stand by that. And let me tell you, I counted down the minutes until the 10-minute version of All Too Well.

1. Speak Now

I don't even think I have to explain this one. The bridge during Last Kiss is earth-shattering. Same with Back To December. And Enchanted. And Dear John. Actually, I want to get every word on this album tattooed on my body.

Do you agree with my ranking?

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
