I pushed the button

I'm glad.

Don't ask me about it

Because we both know it's all bad.

It's shitty I'm over it

But I'm still kind of mad

I thought people were better than this

That we could be better than this

But either way

November 9th's the day

When we'll all be sad.

God have mercy on us

Though we don't deserve it

Democracy has made freedom seem worthless

And we've made a mockery of it

But no matter who's the president

How horrible it gets

Christ is still King of kings

And He's where I'm placing all my bets.
