Dear Bros,
Growing up, my friends always asked me If having brothers who were so much older than me was an annoyance or a pain. I would always say, "No...okay well maybe sometimes, but they are the best!"
Yes, living with so many boys who had control over everything was a tad annoying. I'm talking choosing the show to watch, getting our parents to drive them places, and getting the black computer over the white (haha if you know you know). I remember trying to practice reading and you guys would run in an interrupt so many times. I would yell, which only made you do it more. It was truly a fun game!
I was in first grade when you guys first went off to college, so I did not even live with you for that long. Soon enough, I was choosing the shows to watch. I got the rides. I even got the bathroom that I once shared with three boys all to myself. Amazing. While having a clean bathroom and a quieter house was nice, I did at times miss the chaos that would go down.
Now that we are all out of the house, I can honestly say that I wish we got to spend more time living tougher. As we have grown up, the age gap has not seemed as prominent. I never believed mom when she would tell me that we would all get closer as we got older, but that is 100% true. The six years that we all lived under the same roof were the most fun and loud times.
Thank you for always having my back and being there for me, and know that I will always be there for you.
You guys are my best friends, and I know that will never change. You will always be my older brothers and I will always be your younger sister, but one thing that is for sure is that the age gap will never tear us apart.
I love you,
Love, your much younger and favorite sister
