My Love Affair With Coffee

Dear, Coffee,

You are the best. You get my through the day (or sometimes night), and you're my favorite thing to wake up to in the morning.

You come in so many different flavors, smells, and even temperatures, which I am very thankful for. I have yet to try a new kind that I wasn't fond of.

You were there for me through the terrible 8AMs, the all nighters, and the early morning work shifts. If I haven't told you lately, I really appreciate that.

If you're a real coffee lover, you will never understand the people who order something along the lines of a "venti, half-whole milk, one quarter 1%, one quarter non-fat, extra hot, split quad shots (1 1/2 shots decaf, 2 1/2 shots regular), no foam latte, with whip, 2 packets of splenda, 1 sugar in the raw, a touch of vanilla syrup and 3 short sprinkles of cinnamon" because you just want "the biggest, strongest black coffee you have."

So coffee, thank you for being there for me through my good days and bad day. I don't know what I would do without you.
