Anyone who knows me knows that I can’t live without my planner. It comes with me everywhere and has everything that I deem important in it. I hate that I depend on it so much, but that’s just how it is. Fortunately, I have discovered that there is a whole group of people out there just like me. If your entire life is in your planner, you know these five things to be true. (Also, please appreciate the beauty and organization of each of the pictured planners).
1. Spending hours, days, and even weeks trying to find the right planner.
This will soon be an essential part of your life, so it must be perfect. With so many sizes, designs and layouts, it takes quite a bit of research to find the perfect planner.
2. Trying to explain that your planner is your life.
Most people use planners for academics -- important test dates, quizzes, etc. But then there is a whole other category of us who are 100 percent dependent on our planners. Everything from academic due dates to extracurriculars and meeting times to simpler tasks like when to eat lunch or when to go to bed is neatly prepared. Essentially, our entire lives are outlined in that little book.
3. Planning how to plan your planner.
Yes, this is a thing. Color, handwriting, format?? There are so many options that must be considered.
4. Feeling nothing but fear when you misplace your planner.
This is honestly one of the worst fears ever, and I wouldn’t wish losing a detailed agenda on my worst enemy. As explained in #2, our planners are our lives. When something so significant is misplaced or even lost, it may feel as though the world is ending. (This feeling can't/shouldn't be pictured, so here is another amazing planner instead).
5. Feeling completely satisfied when everything is crossed off your to-do list at the end of the week.
There is nothing better than looking back on your week and seeing everything crossed off. You feel accomplished and motivated to get everything done the next week.
