We all have those pieces of clothing we claim as our pieces of clothing for the season. Either way, our closet wouldn't be the same without it. These are just a few of the things you'll see me wearing this summer.

1. Flannels

Flannels are the ideal thickness to keep you warm but not too warm on chilly summer nights and fit perfectly around your waist when you're not wearing them.

2. Sun hats

Not only are these hats too cute not to wear, but they also serve a purpose: to keep you from having the sun in your eyes and a sunburn on your face.

3. Oxfords

For those who don't enjoy wearing sandals these shoes are perfect; they're not too warm and they look great with everything from shorts to dresses.

4. High-Waisted Shorts

High-waisted shorts are making a recent comeback as they should be. Not only do they look adorable with just about anything, but they're adding a bit of the '70s to your closet.

5. Converse

I believe Converse have a place in any season any day. They're classic.

6. Designed Tights

Tights can come with many different designs, from floral to stripes, and all of them are equally necessary.

7. Band Tees

Band t-shirts come in handy with any outfit any time of the year. They're comfy, and they add a little grunge to any outfit.

8. Combat Boots

I wear these all the time. They go great with dresses and tights, and shorts too. If you don't already, definitely grab yourself a pair.

9. Crop Tops

This sounds incredibly basic, but they really are great. If you don't want to show skin you can always wear them with high-waisted shorts or a skirt.

10. Sun Dresses

These are perfect for if you want to dress up a little or just for a day outside. Either way, you'll never regret buying one.

11. Thin Sweaters

These are great for bonfires or days inside with air conditioning. I can find a use for a sweater any time of the year.

12. Alien Shirt

I think that these shirts are the cutest thing and they pair well with just about anything. What's better than a little space in your fashion?

13. Flower Crowns

These crowns are great for any pastel outfit you want and they pair wonderfully with a sun dress. Having a bad hair day? Add a flower crown.

14. Midi Rings

These rings have taken over the jewelry world lately. To many they don't make sense, but I find them to be quite cute and unique.

15. Tulip Shorts

These shorts are pretty similar to other shorts, but they're made out of really comfortable material and do a little dip in the middle, making them stand out.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
