Remember the days when VH1 was made entirely of music? Remember when those days of music turn into the days of reality television? If you do, then you might want to stick around and take a trip down the 2000s lane of VH1 reality shows! And sure you can say that the shows that are on VH1 now are pretty good, but nothing will ever compare to sitting at home and watching Flavor Flav or Bret Michaels choose the love of their lives (which they ironically did for three seasons). And who can forget some of the memorable people who got their fifteen minutes of fame just for the pleasure of us! So here are some of my favorite VH1 reality shows of the 2000s

Flavor of Love

A spin-off of Strange Love, this masterpiece of a show saw Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav find love after his relationship ended with Bridget Nielson. In it, twenty women scratched and clawed their way to the rapper's heart. Season 1 was memorable as it introduced Hoopz, Pumpkin, Goldie, Hottie, and the iconic New York. And who could forget the infamous spit take with Pumpkin and New York? Season 2 saw the return of New York and once again being turned down by Flav. Season 3 never lived up to the height of the first two seasons. But in the end, Flav did find love with the mother of his youngest child. Flavor of Love ended up making two spin-offs, Charm School and...

I Love New York

After being dumped by Flavor Flav twice (in the final two might I add), Tiffany Pollard a.k.a New York had her own show where she looked for love in the hearts of twenty men. Running for two seasons, I Love New York gave us Tango, Tailor Made, Real & Chance (who had their own dating show) and the not-so-bright It.

Rock Of Love

From the world of hip-hop, we now turn to the world of rock & roll. Poison lead singer Bret Michaels spent three years looking for love in the hearts of twenty-five women, with the third seasons taking place on a tour bus. This show saw the likes of Heather, Lacey, Brandi C, Meagan, Daisy, Angelique, Ashley, and Taya. After three seasons of finding love, none of the three winners seemed to fit the rock & roll lifestyle that Bret was looking for. Spin-offs of the series include Rock of Love Charm School, Daisy of Love, and Meagan Wants a Millionaire.

Together, all three shows had the spin-off I Love Money in which seventeen contestants competed for $250,000. It was short lived after the controversy of contestant Ryan Jenkins killing his girlfriend and then himself.

And those shows pretty much made up my middle school life. Rewatching these shows today is comedy gold. The only one still relevant after all of this is New York, who had a number of shows on VH1 and was even a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother over in the UK. Most of these shows you can find on Hulu.

If you miss watching these shows, create a Hulu account and relive the days of reality glory!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
