Everyone has different things they look forward to each holiday and here are a few things that I look forward to!
All The Food
If you know me then you would know that I absolutely love food. Thanksgiving is a time for us all to appreciate the things that we have and to celebrate in honor of everything we are thankful for. One of the biggest things I am thankful for is being able to eat all that food.Especially being a college student, getting a home cooked meal is a reason to celebrate! Ever since I can remember I have always looked forward to thanksgiving. The turkey, baked mac and cheese, green bean casserole, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie; and these are just a few of my favorites. It is almost like food tastes so much better on this one day a year than it does any other time. What can I say? I love food!
Visiting With ALL The Family.
I am in college if you did not know and I am away from family for the majority of the year. When holidays come around it is so great to get to see everyone and catch up on what is going on in their lives. Family is so important and I love getting to see how everyone is doing, and how grown up my younger family members are getting.
Black Friday & Cyber Monday
I am a big shopper and black Friday and cyber Monday are the two best times to do a Christmas shopping marathon. If your into physically going out and shopping and facing the huge crowds of people then black Friday is for you! If you're more into sitting at home and Christmas shopping from your laptop then cyber Monday is for you! Personally, I like to participate in both! Most stores offer similar black Friday and Cyber Monday sales so when your shopping on Friday and you can't find your size or they have already sold out of what you're looking for, check the store's website because they are probably doing the same sale online and the company warehouse probably has what you're looking for in stock.
Christmas Decorating
This one can be very controversial but in my family as soon as Thanksgiving day is over, we rip out the Christmas decorations and the Christmas season is in full swing! Christmas is another one of my favorite times of year and theirs just something that I love about hanging decorations and listening to Christmas carols surrounded by the people you love that is so fun and exciting!
The fall and winter holiday season is my absolute favorite and I hope that you can relate to these things that make thanksgiving break the best for me!
Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for reading!
