4 Totally Binge-Worthy Netflix Shows
Time

As a college student, I'm constantly watching Netflix right before bed or right when I should be doing homework. But I can't talk myself out of it because there are just some shows that I cannot get enough of. It is always so hard to pick one to watch because I'm always debating what type of mood in to watch at this moment. So here are my top 4 choices on Netflix:

1. Grey's Anatomy

How the things have changed over the several seasons. Lost so many good characters that it breaks my heart. But somehow I've managed to watch this show 5 times on Netflix and I never ever get tired. This is by far my favorite show on earth, it gives you heartbreak with happiness, each episode is a emotional rollercoaster, yet it's totally worth every second. Netflix even has the latest season up, perfect for anyone trying to catch up, but hurry the newest season comes out soon!

2. Last Chance U

A Netflix original, and it was amazing. Although there is only 1 season it is totally worth a watch. Personally I love sports so this show was something right down my alley but it is more than football; it shows you something deeper than that, you learn about people and see their struggle and how they make it out. Not only does this incorporate football and a bit of sadness (especially the last episode) there is a lot of humor, Ronald Ollie, my favorite character always makes you laugh. This show is a must watch, I really enjoyed it and cannot wait for future seasons.

3. Shameless

I may have just started this show, after several people told me it's a must see, I really really enjoy it thus far. It isn't your everyday T.V. show which makes it so good because it's so different. I can't say much about this show because I'm still on season 1 but I have a good feeling that this will be a show I'll be binge watching.

4. The Powerpuff Girls

It's not like this show is new or anything but it is pretty exciting that this is on Netflix and convenient. When you want to watch something but don't want to devote all your attention to paying attention to a T.V. this is a great show to throw on. It reminds me of my childhood and I wish there was a way to watch all the old shows, I know I'm missing those currently.

Netflix is amazing and I really love it, I may be sitting behind a computer way to many hours of the day to binge watch one of my favorite shows but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. So if you don't have Netflix, you should get it and if you haven't checked out these shows, you should!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
