Over the past few months or so, I have found some really great products that I wanted to share!

1. Velvet scrunchie hair ties

These are great, they are a little "upscale" from regular scrunchies, in the sense they can almost dress up an outfit and add to it. You can get them in all colors, I am loving the burgundy color one now!

Where to purchase: Urban Outfitters, Old Navy, Amazon.com

2. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

This is a great spot treatment for those annoying breakouts. Just dip a q top to the bottom so that it reaches the pink solution, place on a pimple and leave it on overnight. Make sure to not shake the solution! This product works wonders.

Price: $17 from Ulta beauty

3. Colour Pop Super Shock Eyeshadow in "I heart this"

This eyeshadow is my all time favorite. It's so pigmented and this shade is perfect for everyday use. In my opinion, these are the best eyeshadows at this price point..$5! Better than some of my higher end eyeshadows too. Plus, when I ordered it online, it came with a cute handwritten note!

Price: $5 colourpop.com

4. Lush lip scrub

This is a great product to make your lips super smooth and to get the dead skin off your lips, especially during this cold winter. These smell amazing and comes in mint, bubblegum and honey.

Price: $10.95 Lush Cosmetics

5. Botanics Toning Spritz

This is a toner I recently picked up after someone recommended it to me. I really like it, I can feel it deeply cleanses my skin, removing all dirt and oils. Plus, it is 100% organic and it smells great!

Price: $8.29 Target, also available from Ulta and Walgreens

6. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

This has been a favorite of mine for a while now. I use to hate makeup remover wipes because I would never use the whole wipe at once, so I thought I was wasting. I love this because I can just put it on a cotton ball and use what I need. I love that this is not oily and gets all my makeup off very easily. I have a big bottle and it's lasted me a while, and they even make travel size bottles too!

Price: $8.99 for 13.5fl oz

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
