You two have made it so far. Beginning as young kids with nothing but ignorance figured out, your friendship has lasted and grown throughout decades. Together you have made it through the greatest ups and most severe downs, you’ve lived through a lot during the companionship and much of this had made you officially titled life long best friends. You trust each other, as the only person on this planet that truly knows you they would never hurt you.
In actuality, they would never hurt you, but this is 2016. The year where the greater portion of the American population feels cheated out of a candidate that they can cast a vote for and feel at ease with. You were set on sitting back and letting the rest of this nation get a headache for who the greater evil is, or maybe you were one of those with bags packed about to head to a place that has a choice in their election that doesn’t feel like an evil scam of a joke sporting a mustard stain on a T-shirt.
They have made up their mind, set to participating as a good example of our current version of democracy, ready to cast their vote. They are not the morbidly uneducated kind that blindly support, they are not the racists that you awfully despise, leading you to know there is no reason to disown their kind love; truly they are not the bad ones. You would react with the same distaste if they had picked the foul rubber faced lady looking horrible in the expensive dress that makes you trust her even less. So, how do you swallow this cold dark and lonely reality?
Give them flack with a light heart and do your thing, laugh bitterly. Know they are great, simply hooked by one of the bogus strings of ramble that came out of his mouth.
Actually, maybe it would be easier and more beneficial that you don’t do much; this situation with the election is trash, just be the best citizen you can.
