For me the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017 has sprung a new found love for makeup and beauty products. I can't help but spend hours watching the quick makeup tutorials on Instagram and Youtube. After the start of my recent love for beauty products, I have invested in various different products to attempt to have the collection as some of these beauty gurus. Here are my favorite beauty products to date.
The Beauty Blender
Hands down the most essential product in my opinion. Before purchasing this I was applying foundation with my hands, I know, amateur, with this product I am able to blend my foundation and also apply setting powder. The only downside is that it is super absorbent and hence really hard to clean completely.
Bio Oil
This Vitamin E oil helps dry skin, enhance skin tone and texture. It can also help improve the appearance of stretch marks. I also use it as a medium when applying my foundation. The good thing about it is that a little product goes a long way. It's a great moisturizer for nighttime especially in the dry winter weather.
Kylie Cosmetics "Royal Peach Palette"
I've only recently began investing in Kylie's makeup line and I can say that I have been pleasantly surprised. Theres no doubt that she has the money to establish a really decent makeup line however the quality of the products are amazing. I bought the royal peach palette the day that it was released and I was beyond thrilled when I received it and was able to see the amazing pigment for myself.
Colour Pop Ultra Matte Lips
After realizing that if I continued investing in Kylie's makeup that I would be broke quickly. A friend recommended that I try colour pop's matte liquid lip stick. They're inexpensive and are very long lasting. The best part is that they are not over drying. As long as you exfoliate before using the product your lips are good for whatever your night holds.
Moroccan Oil
Now this product isn't a face product but it's definitely an essential beauty product to me. Although priced on the higher end for hair product it is worth every penny. I personally have dry hair and since starting this regiment I am noticing that my hair is holding moisture a lot better than it used too. This is also a product that doesn't need a lot to be effective.
Finding the right products can seem difficult at times. Everyone's skin tone is different therefore different shades look better on different people. I am still trying to see what tones look best on my skin. Hopefully if you are looking for new products to try this will be a good place to start!
