Let's face it: 2016 wasn't the greatest.
Even Charles Dickens predicted this tumultuous year with his famous quote, "It was the best of time, it was the worst of times." While there were some good things to come out of 2016, there were some god-awful ones, leaving everyone in a weird state of not having any idea how we got to this point.
Whatever your thoughts about this year, I think we can all agree that there were many ups and downs. And no TV show better exemplifies this than "Arrested Development," which is objectively one of the funniest shows of all time. So here's a rundown of my year, told through this iconic show:
1. When I wanted to eat my feelings:
2. When people asked about my social life:
3. When my self-confidence was fleeting:
4. When professors kept assigning busywork:
5. When I tried to be creative:
6. When *some* people didn't get the hint:
7. When I wasn't the best at handling my finances:
8. When the most random celebrities made the news:
9. When I had high expectations for the semester:
10. But then when it got to be too much:
11. When the procrastination took over:
12. And finally, my year summed up in one quote:
Here's to a better 2017!
