2. Chewing Gum, starring Michaela Coel, who is also executive producer of the show. This comedy filled show follows 25-year-old Tracey Gordon, who lives with her very religious mother in East London and trying to come to terms with her sexuality through various relationships and awkward situations. This show earns 5-stars because of the show's ability to capture real life issues for women around the world and bring light to them in a comical way.
3. The Fundamentals of Caring, starring Selena Gomez, Paul Rudd, and Graig Roberts. This film follows Rudd's character, who retires from writing after a personal tragedy and becomes a disabled teen's caregiver. Together they embark on a road trip, where their ability to cope is tested as they start to understand the true meaning of hope and friendship. This film earns 5-stars because of its dark comedy and ability to grab a viewers attention through its heart-wrenching story.
4. Unbreakable Kimmy Schimdt, starring Ellie Kemper follows a women who is rescued from a doomsday cult and lands in New York City, she must navigate a world she didn't think even existed anymore. This Netflix comedy created by Tina Fey earns 5-stars because there's never a dull moment between each of the characters, as they set out on adventures about self discovery.
