Here is a list of 7 of my favorite sites to see in Charleston!
Waterfront Park
The Waterfront Park, which as the name says, is also right next to the water. This park has two fountains, one is a pineapple and the other one is mostly just to walk around in water. There's also benches and if you're lucky, you'll catch some glimpses of dolphins.
The Battery
upload.wikimedia.orgThe Battery is just gorgeous, and it so nice and relaxing to walk along the water. All while looking at gorgeous houses. Eventually, you get to come to White Point Garden and you're more than welcome to sit down in the grass and take in the views. Highly recommend this for anyone coming to see Charleston for the first time.
Ghost Tours
Something I've done before is a ghost tour with my boyfriend! It's at nighttime and we absolutely loved it. It was kind of spooky and you learn a lot about the city.
Folly Beach
Folly Beach is such a cute little town, and you'll find things to do all over in Folly. Folly is defiantly more on the popular side.
King Street
CharlestoncitypaperYou're in luck if you love to shop! King Street is just the place to do that downtown. Most places tend to close early, so make sure to get there before they close.
Charleston City Market
This one is probably my favorite, the Charleston City Market. I absolutely the market, you can find so many things. It is so fun to go on any day of the weekend and shop. There's always cute jewelry, clothes, anything you can think of. And if you happen to pass by the City Market at night, sometimes there's a performer outside singing or playing an instrument.
Rainbow Row
Rainbow Row just shows the charm that Charleston holds. You can't help but feel happy when you see this colorful row of homes. Not to mention, it is also very instagram worthy.
These are just a few of the things you can do in Charleston. If you haven't visited Charleston yet, you need to do so!
