The fashion was loud, the hair was huge, the music was electric, and the movies were golden. My entire childhood was spent listening to music and watching movies from the '80s. My parents "blessed" me by educating me on everything '80s. In their opinion, it is the greatest decade of all time. They aren't completely wrong. A lot of my all-time favorite movies come from the '80s. If you are ever looking for a good '80s movie, I highly recommend choosing one from this list.
1. "The Breakfast Club"
"Don't you forget about me."
2. "Sixteen Candles"
Every girl deserves a Jake Ryan lets face it.
3. "Dirty Dancing"
Patrick Swayze. Enough said.
4. "Footloose"
No it is not just a song.
5. "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"
Will I ever be as cool as Ferris Bueller? Absolutely not.
6. "Top Gun"
Maverick and Goose, name a more iconic duo.
7. "Pretty In Pink"
Another Molly Ringwald classic
8. "Steel Magnolias"
The perfect movie if you ever need a good laugh or a good cry.
9. "Can't Buy Me Love"
Before Patrick Dempsey was "McDreamy".
10. "St. Elmos Fire"
"This isn't real. You know what is? It's St. Elmos Fire."
11. "Heathers"
The "Mean Girls" of the '80s.
12. "Back to the Future"
"Great Scott!"
13. "E.T."
