Falling leaves and Pumpkin Spiced Lattes are a staple of my three favorite times of the year: Fall, October, and Halloween. From the comfy clothes to the chilly weather to the appearance of candy corn flavored everything, there are so many things to love about this season! To celebrate one of my favorite times of the year, I've compiled a list of five of my favorite halloween inspired foods.
1. Jack 'O' Lantern Chips and Dip
Not only is the Jack 'O" Lantern chips and dip idea extremely adorable, but it also involves one of my favorite dips: guacamole. The idea of the pumpkin's guts spilling forth add a nice touch of gore to go along with the halloween theme. If you don't like guacamole, just substitute the pumpkin's spilling guts with salsa or your favorite dip.Recipe can be found at this link: https://www.facebook.com/buzzfeedtasty/videos/1653...
2. Halloweeno Jalapeno Poppers
Filled with a cream cheese mixture and wrapped in crescent rolls, these jalapeno poppers a must try. They are perfect for any halloween party and make the cutest appetizers. The heat of the peppers add the scare factor to this finger food. The recipe can be found here: http://www.thehopelesshousewife.com/?hhw_recipes=h...
