Now that Summer 2018 is drawing to a close, I've been thinking back on some of the things that made this summer one of the best ones yet. While the experiences I've had take up the majority of the spots on that list, there are a few physical things that made my sweet summer possible. Here are just a few:

1. PopSocket and PopSocket Car Mount

For the longest time, I had no way to mount my phone for hands-free use while I was driving. That wasn't really an issue until I started having to commute a fair distance for my job. The PopSocket is useful all on its own, but the car mount accessory gives it a whole different use. You can browse PopSockets and their accessories here

2. Hydroflask

I have already expressed my love for my HydroFlask before on this platform (which you can check out here), but I'm happy to share about it again. I doubt that very few, if any, of us drink enough water in a day. But owning a HydroFlask has made it so much easier for me to come close to accomplishing that goal. It almost makes drinking water trendy. You can snag a Hydro of your own here.

3. Trader Joe's Coconut Cold Brew Coffee

Okay, I know this sounds basic, but hear me out. I've never been a big coffee drinker, but it became almost necessary when I started working weird hours at my job. This stuff was super easy to prepare and tasted good enough to get me semi-addicted to it. If you're not a coffee fan but you're looking to ease yourself into the world of coffee, give this a try.

4. Passion Planner

Having a daily planner to organize my weeks was essential in keeping my summer productive and as stress-free as possible. I just received my new Passion Planner for the school year and I am so beyond ready to start using it for my classes.

5. Knock-Off Birkenstocks

Much like probably every other white girl in the entire world, these type of sandals were my go-to footwear for months until I eventually wore them out beyond repair. They go perfectly with almost any summery outfit and are super comfy to boot.

Even though summer is coming to a close, I'm thankful for all the wonderful memories I made and the products that helped me enjoy my summer to the fullest potential!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
