8 Items On My Bucket List That Should Be On Yours Too
Aaron Alvarado

There are so many thing I want to do on the planet before I die, but there are 8 specific tasks that I think eveyone shouls have on their bucket list. Here they are:

1. Do Something That Scares you.

Take a chance. Do something that scares you, big or small you can say you did it and you will feel so proud of yourself in a way you have never felt before. Speak in front of a crowd, tell that special someone how you feel, get a tattoo what ever it may be, do it. By facing your fear or fears you will gain such a since of accomplishment, you will love the feeling you get in your gut so much you will never want it to go away. You will gain a level of confidence that you never know was possible because you pushed your self and trusted yourself to do something you never thought you could. Trust me it will be worth it.

2. Travel.

Don't let money or work or what ver other excuses you have stop you from seeing the world. You dont have to take a month off and backpack through Eruope, I mean props to you if you do, just taking a trip to another state is something. Traveling is such a great way to see things you have never seen before, clear your mind, experience new things and make amazing memories. Traleving somewhere new at least once is something I think every one should experience. Just go!

3. Help Someone Reach A Goal.

Every one could use a little push in life when it comes to reaching a personal goal, be that person to give someone that push and help them reach their goal in life weather it be big or small it is going to mean the world to them. This is such a great way to give back, make yourself feel good for doing something good. Your small impact can change that other persons life, it could mean the world to them and knowing that you were a part of that accomplishment is the best feeling in the world. Give back!

4. Own A Baby Animal It's Whole Life.

So many people have already done this and have even done it more than once, me being one of them, and i can assure you that if you ask anyone who has raised a animal since it was a baby if it was workth it, the answer will be yes. Just knowing that you have the ability to give this creature the best life possible is so amazing. Knowing that this animal has such uncondition love for you and that you were there from their first day to their last is just so heart warming that everyone should experience this feeling. Now go fall in love!

5. Become Fluent In A Foreign Language.

We all went through high school spanish class in which we did everything possible to pass the class without actually learning the language, do you kind of regret it now? I do. Now that I am older I wish I had really tried to pick up a new language, how amazing would it be to be able to communicate with someone who doesn't speak english and know that your whole conversation make since and everyone else around you has no idea what you are saying. How great would it feel to know what the ladies at the nail salon were saying about you. Just knowing that you are able to communicate with thousands to millions of more people just because you took the time to learn a new language. GIve it a shot!

6. Learn And Master A New Skill.

Challange yourself. Fine something that interests you and learn it then brag to all your friends about how good you are at it. This is such a great way to grow your mind and keep it sharp. And there is always that since of accomplishement I keep talking about you will get once you have mastered your new skill. Learning to do something new that you have never done before is such a great way to challange yourself and oush yourself to keep up with it, don't give up on it becasue you don't have the time or what ever other excuses you have. Prove to yourself that you can do this and then brag to others when you do. Believe in yourself!

7. Have A Job That You Love.

Don't live your life wishing and regretting that you went to work every day hating what you do. Everyone, at some point in their life, deserves to spend their days excited to go into work and loving what they do. Stop envying the poeple who have your dream job. Go out there and get it for yourself. Don't think about money or location or what every else that is going to stop you form persuing your dream job, replace those worries with positivity on how you can make it work, how you can make it happen. And then do it!

8. Create Something.

What ever that something is it is time for you to make it happen. Create a new business. Create art. Create a new life. Create something that you will be proud of, something you want to show the world. There are no rules, it can be anything you want. Focus on enjoying life and yourself while making it and focus on the amazing feeling you will have when you have comepleted it. Focus on making yourself feel good. Don't think. Just create!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
