Have no fear, I am here to make sure your week starts off on the right note! (ah lame music jokes, sorry) The songs below I have been obsessed with lately. These have all been on repeat. They are the songs I listen to in the shower and in the car. There's a nice variety of artists and genres. Hope you have a great week!

Morning - Marc E. Bassy

What better way to start your morning than with a song of the same name? It's the perfect first song of the day... not too synthesized, not too fast. Is it Base-y or Bass-y? I may never know. His smooth voice is the best way to wake up.

House of Gold - Twenty One Pilots

With the sing song-y lyrics and addicting strumming, you're bound to fall in love with this song. It makes me happy just to listen to it! It's very upbeat, even though it's more of an acoustic. The simple, repetitive lyrics makes it quick to learn and sing along.

This Town - Niall Horan

As a former crush of One Direction, I was excited to see Niall release his first single! He was always my favorite anyway. His voice is gold, and you can daydream about being his while listening to this song. His vocals truly shine. This is one of those songs you can look out the window while listening to and pretend you're in a music video.

Pity Party - Melanie Martinez

I first heard about Melanie Martinez on YouTube from a "Teens React" video. I thought she was quirky, but genuinely herself. She's a bit alternative and a bit indie, and that makes for a great track!

Closer - Shaun Frank Remix (The Chainsmokers)

I feel like "Closer" is such a popular song right now, and this remix really takes it to the top! I love the build up but then the let down back to the verse. This is the perfect pump-up song to listen to on your way to class!

Trust Nobody - Cashmere Cat

I was already a fan of Cashmere Cat, but this track with Selena Gomez is just so sexy. This track is well-thought out and deserves to be listened to. Time to invite the boyfriend or girlfriend over. ;)

Patience - Shawn Mendes

Shawn has the voice of an angel, and this song is no exception. The gentle guitar strumming is the loveliest back-up to his vocals. Everyone needs a song by a teenage heartthrob about love. Don't make him lose his patience by not listening to this song ASAP.

Afterlife (Remix by Frank Pole) - Greyson Chance

Remember the adorable child singer Greyson Chance? Well, he's all grown up and still making music! Still adorable. This remix will fill your ears on your walk home from class!

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
