Philadelphia is a city filled with culture, great food, and art in places you would least expect. Here are a few of the murals in Philadelphia that you have to check out.

It Was All a Dream by Sean Gallagher | 11th and Spring Garden

So you like Biggie Smalls, and murals? This is the mural for you. Located on the side of Union Transfer at 11th and Spring Garden.

Philly the Bern by Disto and Old Broads | 22nd and Catharine

Yes, our old man Bernie is not in the race anymore, but he still lives on in our hearts and on this wall in South Philadelphia.

We the Youth by Keith Haring | 22nd and Ellsworth

You may have seen some of Keith Haring's art somewhere and now you can see it right here in person! Originally standing since 1987, this mural was recently restored by the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program.

Ralph Brooks Revitalization Project | 20th and Tasker

This mural is a part of the Ralph Brooks Revitalization project. The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts program worked with Connor Barwin and his Make The World Better Foundation and other community partners to create this mural with a powerful meaning.

Legendary by Amber Art & Design featuring Tatyana Fazlallzadeh | 512 S. Broad St

This mural is located on World Communications Charter School. It is inspired by and dedicated to The Roots, a band that started right here in Philadelphia at the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, which is located only a short walking distance from the mural.

Open Your Eyes, I See The Sunrise by Steve Powers | 5221 Market St

Take the Market Frankford line towards 69th Street and you will see some of the lovely art that is a part of Steve Powers' A Love Letter for You. In regards to his art, Powers says that these are his chance to put something on rooftops that people would care about.

Remember to Take Your Daily Dose of Color by Tattfoo Tan | 6th and Snyder Ave

This colorful mural reminds you to take your daily dose of color. This phrase is also translated into some of the languages present in the area: Karen, Chin, and Nepali.

Watchtowers by Joe Boruchow | 910 Dickinson St

Fun fact: Artist Joe Boruchow designed this on a single piece of black paper with all the white parts placed onto it.

Micro to Macro by Benjamin Volta | Morton McMichael School

This mural has bursts of colors. The project was a partnership between Mural Arts and the Morton McMichael Elementary School.
