For a better you.

Some advice that I always receive has always reminded me that moving on from situations that no longer serve you, benefit you or make you happy are not worth your time. For those that are soon going to be entering their twenties — listen up, this is especially for you.

As we hit this age, a constant worry if we're doing the right thing is a weight on our shoulders nearly 24/7. Some thing that I do want to remind you is that not everyone's success is achieved throughout the same journey. I might go through hell and back while ending up where I intend to be, meanwhile the next person has everything and anything given to them. That's just the way life is. With this, comes the tendency to cling on to old relationships just because apparently "you're too old to take interest into other people" or settling for the person you're with now is what you were brought up to do. With jobs are the same thing. Do not feel like you have to stay at a job for the simple fact that it pays well and has great benefits. If you're miserable there and dread getting ready every morning — it is a clear sign that that occupation is not for you. You're not happy, move on.

I want to see you step outside of your comfort zone. Moving on from old jobs, relationships, friends and etc. is not a bad thing. Prosperity is something that I would like to see more become comfortable with actually. Stepping outside of your comfort zone is something that takes time with — yes, but rarely results in failure. Try to go above all means necessary with the next goal that you intend for yourself. If this one didn't work out, there's no need to need to get frustrated and give up right then and there. New opportunities will then be flourished in your life and you will meet new people with more inspiring stories.

On the other hand we have the old saying "if you wanted it bad enough, you'd have it by now" — and I disagree with this. I want you to keep in mind that your and everyone else's scenario is different, and there is nothing wrong with starting from nothing. I think that makes your success even more beautiful. Like I've said before — everyone's journey is different; and I'm pretty sure you've caught on by now that life is not necessarily fair. Think about how you will look back at all you have done and how proud you will become. Introduce yourself to patience and you see how well your attitude on certain things change.

Work hard and stay focused. Everything is in divine order.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
