When is it time to just let go? Do you ever have problems with someone, and just can’t seem to solve them? Problems that just seem constant? You know that if you keep arguing with them, it isn’t going to go the way you feel it should. When is it time to be the bigger person and decide that it isn't worth arguing over anymore? I feel like as people we unknowingly create expectations for close people in our lives and kind of want them to treat you a certain way and make you a priority and when it isn't always that way it creates an issue that is most likely not going to get fixed because you can't expect anything from anyone. But at what point does that register? And is it doing any good for us to continue to stress over it while the other person is sleeping like a baby and living their life normally? I think sometimes you just need to let situations go, and sometimes people, just for your own sanity. Even if the person is incredibly important to you, it's not worth being unhappy. When do we finally start to put ourselves first and tell ourselves, "Hey, do something for you and let it go." Yeah, at first it sucks because you still want to fix things with the person, but after awhile you notice you sleep better, you stress less, and overall just feel better. Whatever you were upset about just goes away. Everyone grows up and starts living for themselves. We have to learn to put ourselves first so we can say happy in the long run.

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
