Moving is tough. It is especially tough when you know you will leave behind so many great friends. When you move away from the only place you have known and where all your friends are, prepare for the different stages of making new friends.

1. When you first find out you are moving away.

2. As soon as you drive off.

3. After a couple of days and you have no one to explore the new surroundings with.

4. When you promise each other no matter what things will never change.

5. When they keep living your life, but you still don't have one and feel left out.

6. When you try to make new friends but none of them are as good as the ones back home.

7. When you finally find someone you actually like.

8. When you finally get to catch up with your best friend back home and everything finally settles and is just like it used to be... just miles and miles away.

9. When you get to FaceTime finally and get to see their beautiful face.

10. When you finally reunite.

College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
