2017 is just around the corner at this point, and most of you are starting to make your resolutions. Besides making resolutions, there is something that is much more important: movies. I know that I always look forward to seeing new movies in theaters, especially when it is a sequel or a highly anticipated one.

Fast And Furious 8: Fate of The Furious
Release Date: April 14, 2017

I don’t know about you, but I know I am looking forward to this movie because I am interested to see how the write out Paul Walker’s character. I also love this movie franchise because it teaches many important values such as how important family is, even if it’s not blood. I also always love how ell done the movies have been done in the past, and who doesn’t love seeing the decked out muscle cars?

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Release Date: May 26, 2017

The last time we saw Captain Jack Sparrow was in 2011, so I would say this has been long awaited sequel. There are many different ways that this movie could go because of the last scene that was shown in On Stranger Tides, which was the ship going towards the end of the world. If you haven’t seen the last movie recently, I would recommend watching it again so you remember what last happened to the crew and Jack Sparrow's jar of sand.

Transformers: The Last Knight
Release Date: June 23, 2017

If you like cars and trucks that turn into battle fighting machines and defend something, then this is your movie. It is defiantly an action packed movie. I don’t think you have to see the last movie that came out in this series because they usually start with something different. However, if you like to know all of the details of the movie, I would recommend doing so.

Beauty and the Beast
Release Date: March 17, 2017

Being a Disney lover, I am excited to see this movie in theaters because when they make a human remake of the classical movies, they turn out absolutely amazing. So let your inner Disney Princess come out and go see this movie!

Cars 3
Release Date: June 16, 2017

Another Disney movie is coming out in 2017! I know that I am also exited to see this movie because who doesn’t like talking cars? I don’t care how old you are, this is defiantly a long awaited movie because the last one came out in 2011. I would recommend seeing the other two movies because they both have a story line that leads into the next one.

Despicable Me 3
Release Date: June 30, 2017

The minions and Gru are making a return in 2017, and I am excited to see how Lucy and Gru's marriage is going. I am also excited to see how happy the girl are because all the girls ever wanted was a mom and they finally have one!

There are several more movies that are coming out in 2017 that are very exciting to look forward to, but these are the ones that I am personally excited for. Look out next year through the year for reviews of some of the movies that I have listed. Having movie going and new years!!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
