1. "John Tucker Must Die"
Boys can be jerks and this movie shows the embodiment of that fact, but somehow this movie gives us all a little bit of hope. In this moment of weakness, it's so satisfying to see a jerk get what he deserves. After watching "John Tucker Must Die" you'll realize that the jerk isn't really worth it and neither is the revenge that you're so desperately seeking.
2. "Legally Blonde"
Especially after a very long and very sudden breakup, "Legally Blonde" will show you how no matter what you do, he might not change his mind, but that's okay because he's not worth it. He was trash when he dumped you and he's trash now. Never change yourself for anyone, but if you do... Make sure you're better than him.
3. "Heathers"
Veronica and JD portray your feelings. Everyone who has done wrong (comparative to your ex) gets exactly what's coming to them. What goes around comes around. And in "Heathers" you get the added bonus that JD can even help to show you that maybe your ex isn't as amazing as you thought they were. Sometimes the people we love and would give anything for will treat us like trash the second we realize that we realize something isn't right. And you don't deserve that.
4. "My Girl"
Take us back to the simpler times of being a child in puppy love. Veda will help you to think about how your life is bigger than this bad time you're going through right now. Things may seem bad right now, but they can always get so much better. And remember, just because you lost someone close to you, it doesn't mean you can't still move on.
5. "The Notebook"
The perfect love story is exactly what you need to help deal with your broken heart. There are a few aspects that will show you what you really deserve. You deserve to be cherished and treated with the utmost respect.
6. "Ten Things I Hate About You"
Coming to terms with the fact that you hate (but will never actually really hate) your previous significant other is just a part of accepting your break up. "Ten Things I Hate About You" also introduces the idea that maybe the whole male gender isn't as bad as your perceived your ex to be in the beginning.
