So, Beauty and the Beast has been out for a few weeks now breaking records and bringing nostalgia to many. I am sure you have already seen a few reviews on this, but I wanted to give my take.
I was very thankful that Disney decided to keep the traditional songs that we all know and love. On top of that, I enjoyed the new additions to the production. The beast's song was so emotional and well put. And the fact that we were able to delve deeper into the the pasts of both the Beast and Belle was much appreciated.
I was a little unsure how I felt about the house ware animations, but most of them turned out better than I thought. I think the only one thing that didn't sit was was Mrs. Potts. I am sure that over time it will grow on me.
Of course, I can't write this without mentioning the amazing Belle (Emma Watson). She fit the part so well. The only thing I was sad to think about while watching the film, was the fact that this new generation is growing up only knowing Watson as a princess. No longer will the kids remember her as the outstanding wizard Hermione.
All in all, I think the film was very well done. The story was kept true, the overall animation was done well, and the music was superb. It will definitely be something that I will see more than once. I give this film an
