Being an RA for many students is a rewarding experience. You start the job nervous and excited and as you become more experienced you realize how much there actually is to the job. You work long exhausting hours; deal with confiscations, alcohol/drug busts; and my personal favorite: the roommate drama. You deal with so many personalities, that sometimes it feels as though you are working with preschoolers. However, there are so many good experiences that it makes up for the bad.
All these different experiences make move-out day very emotional for an RA.
Watching your favorite resident move out...
...Only to be followed by your problem room leaving.
When a resident tells you how much you mean to them...
...and then the parents yell at you about how slow the check out process is.

Then the last resident leaves and you're alone with your staff:
But then you're faced with key audits and cleaning:
Finally everything is done and you are free to go home and be with your friends:
